Frequently Asked
Questions
Q:
What is the minimum age for boarding pets?
A: Guests
must be four months of age and have
a complete set of vaccines at 8, 12 and 16
weeks.
Q: What vaccines are required for pets to
board?
A:
Basically whatever your vet recommends annually. Different vets
receive vaccines from different manufacturers who's vaccines vary
from each other. Bordetella ( one cause of canine cough) is
highly recommended but not mandatory.
Q: Do you offer a discount for longer
stays?
A: We give a 20% discount
for stays of 14 days or longer, and 25% discount for 30 days or
longer.
Q: How do your rates work?
A: We charge by
the calendar day, the time we spend with your pets. Check-in after
4pm is a half day and check-out before 1pm is a half day, otherwise
it's a full day.
Q: Can you give my pets their
medication?
A: No
problem and there is no extra charge for it.
Q: What should I bring with me when I drop my pets
off?
A:
Firstly, food. We'll feed what and when they are used to at
home as much as possible. Also vaccine papers if this is your first
time coming or if your pets' vaccines have changed since the ones we
have on file. Feel free to bring a blanket (not the big puffy ones
that won't fit in the washing machine) and anything else that will
make your pet feel at home. You can bring your own bowls if you
prefer as long as they are not breakable, however we have lots here
also. Also bring a phone number we can reach you at while you are
away in case of emergency.
